L.A. Record’s SXSW Showcase
Independent Los Angeles music magazine L.A. RECORD presented its first-ever official showcase at Austin’s SXSW 2009 on Thursday, March 19, featuring an all-L.A. line-up of local legends and about-to-break new artists including BLU and EXILE, BUSDRIVER, THE HENRY CLAY PEOPLE, VERY BE CAREFUL, BLANK BLUE, and CASTLEDOOR.

Origami Records hosted a March residency at the Echo with more than a dozen Origami bands, including Wait. Think. Fast., Summer Darling, Writer, and Dame Satan.
