Kindle touch 3G review
When you visit the Kindle store at Amazon you can browse all the Kindle devices including the just released Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G, and for entertainment buffs the amazing Kindle Fire.
But for the purpose of this Kindle 3 review we’re just going to talk about the kindle touch 3G and the kindle keyboard 3G.
Both of these devices have Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities, and the great thing about 3G is it works globally and there’s no hunting for Wi-Fi hot spots.
The kindle keyboard 3G weighs slightly more than the kindle touch 3G, and while both devices are easy to use, the kindle touch is ergonomically designed for comfortable long-form reading, easy to hold in either hand with a new touch experience called easy reach where everything is just a tap away!

Both kindle 3G devices display on 6″ E Ink Pearl screens which look and read just like real paper. Kindle e-readers’ matte screens reflect light like ordinary paper and use no backlighting, so you can read as easily in bright sunlight as in your living room. Unlike LCD screens, E Ink screens have no glare.
E Ink is easy on the eyes. It uses actual ink particles to create crisp, print-like text similar to what you see in a physical book. Special characteristics of the ink to make letters appear clear and sharp.
E Ink screens also have a uniform contrast ratio that does not change with your viewing angle, so you can read in any position. This may not sound important but it is. With a normal paper book you can read in any position, in virtually any lighting for any amount of time. You can do the same with your Kindle.
With your Kindle 3G you have access to over 1 million books, newspapers, and magazines, including latest bestsellers, Kindle exclusives, Audible audiobooks and more.
Furthermore you can borrow books from participating libraries. There are over 11,000 libraries nationwide that loan Kindle e-books.
